Description
Michael Cook of City Repair will conduct a Placemaking Workshop for up to 15 elementary students. The workshop will be held at the Sunstone elementary campus after school Friday, April 16th 3-5pm.
What will the children do?
- See a slideshow of projects City Repair has helped others create
- Learn what "placemaking" is
- Break into groups of 3-5 children to think about what type of place could be created at home or at school
- Work together to create a model of that space - draw a picture, or use play-doh or legos to make a 3D model
