A perfect silkscreen for an island home or traditional apartment: "Schoolhouse - Massachusetts, c. 1880" by artist Carolyn Pomponio.  This seven-color image, based on an American quilt pattern of schoolhouses, was created in muted shades of blue, purple, green, pink, yellow, brown and orange.

The image of the print is 18" x 18" and the paper itself, white etching paper, is 22" x 28." The print is signed in pencil (A/P, Ed. II) and is an artist's proof from a second edition, with the first one completed in another color scheme. 

This is a beautiful, contemporary silkscreen that would fit in a variety of decors.
