The 2007 Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard has much purer fruit, notes of caramelized nectarines intermixed with smoky hazelnuts, brioche, and some tropical fruit. It's a beauty, with zesty acidity and a long finish. WA 92. The 2007 Pinot Noir Russian River is even better, with deeper ruby color, sweeter black cherry and black raspberry fruit, forest floor, and hints of earth and herbs. It has nice tannin and a long finish. WA 92.
