Description
Did you know that Saint Agnes cares for 300 NICU patients each year? With an average stay of 17 days, these NICU patients require an environment that lends itself to privacy, light control, infection control and sound minimization.
Leave a Legacy and Save a Life.
Your name will be engraved on the Donor Plaque that will be visibly displayed on the equipment, which will be used for years to come.
The innovative features of the Giraffe Incubator help to support growth and stability of the patient. The design allows parents to sit comfortably to help reduce stress and enhance access to their newborn to promote healthy, nurturing interactions.
The Giraffe Incubator:
Promoting Healthy Growth
Giraffe family features are designed to work together and minimize the effects of external factors such as light, sound and touch. For the patient they help promote a healing environment. For the clinician they can help with improved patient care.
- Large, drop down doors allow quick, easy access to the infant from either side of the bed for parents and caregivers. Instant, three-sided access promotes procedural ease while enhancing unit workflow.
- An elevating base offers a broad adjustable range to ensure a comfortable working height for procedures or family interaction.
- The Dovetail Rail System facilitates quick attachment and detachment of accessories and equipment, eliminating separate space-consuming mounting systems and supports.
- The In-bed Scale and Integrated Trending allows for weights to be taken and trended without removing the baby.
- The internally Activated Bed Tilt is smooth and continuous through 0-12 degrees in Trendelenburg or reverse Trendelenburg positions and can be activated with one hand.
- The GiraffeCare™ Clinical Education Program is designed to enhance the knowledge of caregivers in the role of the microenvironment to promote clinical outcomes and build a stronger foundation for evidence-based “best practices."
