Maria Zielinska (a.k.a. Marysia Burr) Born in 1956 in the southern Polish city of Wadowice, Maria Zielinska began her study of art at the Bielsko-Biala High School of Fine Arts, from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

In 1981, Zielinska received her Masters Degree in art from the Polish Academy of Fine Arts. Shortly thereafter she made the decision to move to the United States to Southern California. The new environment had a great effect on her art as it became noticeable that Burr now included Landscapes and nature scenes in her work.

Many of Zielinksa's paintings have been exhibited at the most prestigious galleries throughout Europe and the U.S. Her limited edition works have been published in Los Angeles by Collectors Editions, in Seattle by Winn-Devon and Grand Image, in Arizona by Phoenix Art Press, as well as Marco Fine Arts of California and in New York by Bentley Publishing.
