The Blast Pad Advanced Missile Launch System is a fantastic outdoor toy when there is plenty of open space to play. The Blast Pad is a foot launch system which can shoot light weight foam missiles 50, 75 and even 100 feet into the air. A mighty stomp on the flexible black boot is all it takes to get the rocket launched. A sturdy plastic base holds the launcher and 3 metalix missles. The launcher turns upwards and extends approximately 3 feet from the ground. As a safety precaution the launcher only works when the angle is in a full vertical (90 degree) position from the base (within 9 degrees either way). All launches go directly upwards. Sideway launches are precluded when the base is flat on the ground.  Recommended for ages 8 and up.
