An amazing addition to any wine collection, this bottle of 1986 Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac has a brilliant colour of sustained intensity with a garnet tint.  On the palate, smooth oak and silky tannins combine with well-forward flavors, refined and persistent, in which toasty, vanilla notes mingle with spice and fruit. The ample and full-flavoured finish, with plenty of length, displays fine balance and an attractive underpinning of oak which carries the wine with great panache.
