If a child demonstrates sloppy hand writing or difficulty gripping/holding a pencil or pen properly, or too tightly,  The Print Tool handwriting assessment may be the answer to understanding your childs hand skill development. It will also indicate a course for beginning remediation. Assessment is administered by a Registered Occupational Therapist  who is also a certified hand therapist. This assessment was developed to evaluate preK-5th grade writing skills as they relate to hand development, including pre writing, printing and cursive at age appropriate levels.
