Assessment of visual motor and fine motor skills as they relate to school readiness can provide valuable insight into difficulties your child may be having or allay concerns you may have. Assessment will include both standardized testing to obtain objective measures as well as observation of performance to provide measure of functional skill application.  Assessment will take up to 2 hours on a Saturday with a follow up meeting with parents/guardians to discuss areas of strength and needs, including suggestions for remediation and support if necessary.  Assessment will be provided by Java DeLaura MA, OTR/l.  Java has 8 years of experience in the area of pediatrics (school based intervention and sensory integration) and also has some background in Hand Therapy.
