Musical Theatre Los Angeles, formerly Stage Kids Theatre Company, has been the place to go for exciting musical theater training for talented, young Los Angeles performers for over 12 years. Our goal is to share our passion for theatre and to help all performers find their unique voice.

We offer a Broadway-like rehearsal and performance process, tailored for kids. They learn how to work together as a company, while developing friendships, self-confidence, and a strong work ethic.

We run After School Programs at The John Thomas Dye Schoo and The Village School. We also have Musical Theatre Workshops at The Powerhouse Theatre, The Pacific Arts Center, Magicopolis, and The Pierson Playhouse. Every summer, we offer six different all-day musical theatre Summer Camps. Every MTLA Workshop and summer camp ends with a spectacular final performance on stage, in costume, for family and friends.

All of our Staff -directors, choreographers and music directors - are highly qualified, working professionals in their fields. They have a rare gift for bringing fun and energy to their classes. MTLA’s mission is to bring out the best in every performer!
