Vintner Greg La Follette's notes:
2003 (1 bottle): only 200 cases produced. My dad (David La Follette) had only 1 bottle left of this in his cellar.
2004 (1 bottle): a very ripe, warm year, this is a forward and hedonistic bottling…
2006: (2 bottles): on the wild side of sauvage, you can see the vdK vineyard speaking clearly in this blend.
2006 Tandem “Peloton” (2 bottles): Tandem’s most popular, “winner of the first empty glass contest” red wine blend, always featuring a huge dollop of vdk Pinot Noir and even some Pinot Meurnier, this is Greg’s “mad scientist” wine where he gets to do his creative blending of this 8-varietal bottling.
