Capture your pet's image for posterity! Award-winning portrait artist Elaine O. Ergle will create an original watercolor painting of your favorite pet plus will provide five limited-edition notecards featuring that painting.
Depending on the pet and the pose, the finished painting will be between 16" x 20" and 24" x 24" and will be matted but not framed. Ergle works from two or three snapshots and your short description of your pet's personality and characteristics. If there is a special toy or location, you can include a separate photo of the place or toy as well
Special Instructions
The artist's portfolio includes countless dogs and cats, but she's also been asked to create portraits of pets as unusual as iguanas and goats. She has completed a number of portraits of Seeing Eye dogs, as well. Ergle's realistic style is extremely expressive and moving.
The winner will have the option of purchasing additional notecards directly from the artist, if desired. The portrait is only for a pet and cannot include a human. Portrait must be commissioned before May 2011.
