Description
This extremely rare commemorative jacket from the "Ed" television show was presented to Paul Mason, executive in charge of production for many episodes.
"Ed" was an NBC TV series co-produced by David Letterman's Worldwide Pants Incorporated, NBC Productions, and Viacom Productions that aired from 2000 to 2004.
The hour-long comedy-drama featured Tom Cavanagh as Edward Jeremy Stevens, a contracts lawyer at a high-profile New York City firm who moves back to his small hometown of Stuckeyville to run a bowling alley. Ed settles into his slower-paced life in Stuckeyville, and the series itself settles into a charming, funny, often serious slice-of-life focused not solely on Ed but on the lovable ensemble cast of people who live and work with him.
Ed received casting, writing, and directing Emmy nominations in 2001. Tom Cavanagh received a Golden Globe nomination and a TV Guide Award for his work on the program.
Jackets such as this one were presented to the cast and crew. This black, snap-front jacket is a size "large" and has the "Ed" logo (a stylized bowling ball over the name "Ed") on the left side of the chest.
