Unique Experience at Tri-State Chess, an organization managed by Mark Kurtzman, a National Master.

A six-week unpaid internship available for a high school graduating student, college student, or graduate student mid-May through June 30, 2010.  Tri-State Chess is an organization devoted to establishing competitive chess programs in elementary schools throughout the Tri-State area.  The intern will have the opportunity to observe afterschool chess classes in progress and assist with intramural and local chess tournaments. In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to learn how to make trophies and use a laser engraving machine at The Chess Exchange.
