This is cultural immersion.  Experience ancient, exotic India from the "inside"!  Come stay with our family at our home in Chennai (Madras) in South India, and let us introduce you to the city, the culture, the food and the people.  We have 2 bedrooms with your names on them for 8 days (2 adults and 2 children max).  We will provide 3 meals a day and as much conversation as possible within the constraints of our daily work/school lives.  We will help you find your way around and are happy to help craft an itinerary/activity list or point towards cooking/dance/music lessons, shopping for fabric/jewelry/arts & crafts - really whatever the travelers are interested in!  We will also help plan your trip to other parts of India if you'd like - to see the Taj Mahal & other glories of the Mughal Empire, Kerala and its breathtaking backwaters & Ayurveda spas - whatever you wish! Offered from July 2010 to July 2011.  Value: Priceless
