Alain, the chef at La Bedaine, grew up in Paris, and of course has been food-crazed since early childhood. He began his training as a baker, apprenticeing at Jean Ferrandi School and La Coupole in Paris.  After working in several restaurants, he returned to Jean Ferrandi to obtain a degree from L'Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française. He worked at Restaurant Lameloise in Chagny, and was the sous chef at Restaurant Morot-Gaudry in Paris.

In late 2009, Alain opened La Bedaine. His concept: providing busy working families with a welcome alternative to boxed Macaroni and Cheese. At La Bedaine you can pick up a complete French meal, ready to be finished at home in fifteen minutes or less.
