The program begins by examining concepts of authenticity vs. imitation in Gail Gilbert's Song of the Nightingale with music by Igor Stravinsky, followed by a new work from contemporary powerhouse Thaddeus Davis. The evening ends with Canfield's Cyclical Night, featuring the music of Astor Piazzolla and inspired by the forbidden dance - the Tango.
