Three private yoga classes taught by Iyengar certified instructor Gary Vercelli, Capital Public Radio’s Jazz Music Director.These private classes can be held at your residence (limited to the greater Sacramento area) or in the Capita Public Radio community room and are good for an individual or family. This series of classes is appropriate for a student at any level. Various standing poses, supported back bends, breathing practices, and yoga philosophy will be introduced.

About Gary:  Gary Vercelli has studied yoga since 1976 and practiced Iyengar style hatha yoga since 1992. His primary teachers have been Rodney Yee and Senior Iyengar instructor Manouso Manos (‘94 - present). Gary has also taken several advanced workshops with Senior Iyengar instructor Ramanand Patel, including studies in Rishikesh, India and studied with Geeta Iyengar in Pune, India. With his roots in jazz broadcasting, Gary brings to his craft as a yoga instructor a dynamic presence, fun-loving spirit, and a reverence for the subject.
