"Rosy Parrots" is a small work of interactive Polage art by Austine Wood Comarow.

It is framed in a silver colored embossed wood frame and includes a thin LED light source which plugs into an electrical outlet. Included is a 4.5" inch polarizing viewer which sits on a stand in front of the art. Through the viewer a different image is visible and changes if the viewer is rotated.

This is a small example of Austine's world renown medium which she invented in 1967. The unique work by this long time Las Vegas resident is made with absolutely no pigment of any kind. Just as a prism breaks white light into a brilliant rainbow, Austine's materials--cellulose and polarizing filter--create her palette of pure light colors.

Her work has been collected and commissioned by museums and collectors world wide.
