Leslie Rowland is a celebrated artist living in Las Vegas Nevada.  She works on both canvas and furniture. 

Rowland's abstract work on canvas is both vivid and understated.  Bold simplicity mingles with intricate details.  Her works are striking from a distance and captivating up close.  She describes her paintings as "an expression of thought and emotion through color and abstract form". The medium itself is one that she has created.  She mixes her own paints combining both traditional techniques and some very traditional mediums and techniques.  Shimmering, glossy, and vibrant, the multi-layered works achieve an almost three-dimensional depth.  They have the appearance of fused glass or enamel on metal, but are in fact mixed media on canvas.
