Behind-the-Wheel Training is limited to most parts of Los Angeles, all of San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, the Conejo Valley, other parts of Ventura County, Beverly Hills & the Westside - see zip code list provided. On-line course can be started at age 14 1/2, but waiting until 15 is recommended. Students who have completed the on-line course and are 15 1/2 can take the written DMV test to get a learner's permit. Students who are at least 16 years of age and have successfully completed both drivers education and drivers training may take the DMV drive test to get a provisional drivers license once they have held their permit for at least 6 months.
