Philip Auslander is a writer, critic, editor of The Art Section: An Online Journal of Art and Cultural Commentary (www.theartsection.com), and occasional artist who teaches in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture at Georgia Tech. The piece he contributed to this auction was originally part of a larger work done in collaboration with Deanna Sirlin for the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens.
