Yukari Umekawa was born in Osaka, Japan. She received her B.F.A in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Yukari loves to take photographs, as a painter uses a brush so she uses her camera. Her work is all about her life, that is, trying to figure out who she is.
