Matt's work explores ambiguous narratives that are derivative of film noir, graphic novels and graffiti. His photo-derivative works often bridge tangents between painting, drawing and photography; often with elaborate hand worked stencil techniques that draw from his background as a street artist. Matt has exhibited nationally and internationally for several years. His work is represented by Lyons-Wier Gallery in New York, Pentimenti Gallery in Philadelphia and by White Space Gallery in Atlanta. This past year Matt had his first solo museum exhibition at MOCA Ga. as a part of their Working Artist Program. His work is in a variety of corporate, public and private collections.
