Interested in bioethical issues developing with the rapid advancement of technology, cross-disciplinary artist Adrienne Outlaw explores conflicts between the desire for progress and the possibilityof Frankensteinian horrors. Her most recent work, The Enhancer Project, questions the ethics of pharmacological neuroenhancement. Outlaw shows in museums, public art collections and exhibitions worldwide. She holds an MLAS from Vanderbilt University and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
