Sigrira Perret-Gentil received her MFA in Photography from Georgia State University in 2003 and a BA in Psychology from Emory University in 1996. She grew up in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, and at age twelve moved to the American South with her family. Sigrira is an adjunct professor of photography at Oglethorpe University and has also been actively exhibiting her work nationally and locally. In 2009, she was included in the International Exhibit on Animals in Art at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA, Herding Cats at the Brush Art Gallery in Lowell, MA and Seasons at Youngblood Gallery in Atlanta, GA.
