Taj Forer received his BA from Sarah Lawrence College and his MFA in Photography from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Art. He is Founding Editor of Daylight Magazine, the printed and online publication of contemporary documentary photography. Forer also serves as the Director of the Durham Art Guild and offers art-based editorial consulting for Orion Magazine. A monograph of his 2007 series Threefold Sun was published by Charta Art Books (Milano, Italy). He was a 2008 PDN 30 Photographer and his work can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States and Europe. Forer is represented by Yossi Milo and SENDA galleries.
