Jason Francisco is an acclaimed photographer, book artist and writer whose work concerns new approaches to documentary practices and the problems of visualizing historical memory. He is the author, most recently, Far from Zion: Jews, Diaspora, Memory (Stanford University Press, 2006). He teaches photography and critical studies at Emory University.
