Over twenty years old, the 35-acre estate vineyards of Madrona are now in their prime.  The 2007  Melange is no exception.  The classic golden hue to the color of this wine hints to its life of barrel aging. The base fruit characters of ripe pear and honeydew melon are once again Marsanne, but the aromas of peach, pineapple and mango are all Roussanne and Viognier.  Definitely something to age for another five years or so, this wine opens layer after layer with just a hint of time in the glass. The estate grown 2007 Madrona Zinfandel consistently displays intense raspberry, black pepper, and spice aromas along with flavors which make it a classic
