A Sampling of Popular Songs and Life Changing Events from 1925 through 1956 performed by Elizabeth Harmon, Soprano and Susan Rudy, Pianist.
Sunday, June 6th.
Beth Harmon is a Maine native and has sung with the Westminister Choir under such inspiring conductors as Leonard Berstein, Leopold Stokowski, William Steinberg and Sir Malcolm Sargent. She has been Director of the Chancel Choir at the Cumberland Congregational CHurch UCC for over 30 years and is a member of the Portland Rossini Club, the Choral Arts Society and the CHoral Art Society Carolers at Christmas time.
Susan Rudy has performed in recital with the American Opera Singers; served as accompanist for the Washington Savoyards at the Kennedy Center; performed as a pianist soloist in the Alexander Recital Series, and served as associate music director and performer in numerous musical theatre productions.She is also a member of the Portland Rossini Club and is rehearsal pianist for the PORTopera.
