The Vineyards Inn executes one of the most extraordinary records of true environmental accomplishment from selection of its ingredients to comprehensive recycling programs. Most produce is grown locally and organically at the RoseRanch in Kenwood. All chicken ingredients are certified organic, and dairy products feature Clover Stornetta, a producer noted for its organic methods. All fish are line caught and wild....never netted or farmed. Their recycling program is beyond compare, with even straws and paper goods being composted and wine bottles ground into smooth outdoor gravels when they cannot be directly recycled as bottles.
