Dear Rudy Project,

I am writing to thank you for making gear that is mandatory for safety. On September 6th I was in a bad mountain bike crash that left me with a wrist that was so crushed there was no bone to repair. I now have a plate and two screws. The pain of this crash would of been far worse without the protection the Rudy helmet provided for me that day. I slammed into a tree, fortunately I ducked, putting my chin to my chest, otherwise all of my facial bones would of been fractured. The helmet took the impact well.

Thanks again, for literally saving me from what would of been a serious brain injury- I only got a slight concussion for the head impact. The worst of this whole affair has been the mental aspect. That day I was out on a training ride. I had qualified for Xterra World's in Maui on October 25. Maybe next year?
