The Boulevard, Venice

When Phil first described Venice to me, he told me that the streets were canals.  I recall that I tried to picture it in my mind, but the image my mind created was nothing like the real thing, as I later learned when I first saw Venice.  This shot gives a feeling of the mood of Venice, which is hard to capture, even on film.  It was the mood of Venice that I could not initially conjure up.
