NEW ENGLAND IN SUMMER: One week for a family in one very special barnlike home in the Berkshires, perched over a little river at the end of a dead end road in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Come spend seven days in Norman Rockwell's area of New England, a weekend destination for New Yorkers year-round. The Norman Rockwell Museum, Chesterwood (the estate of Daniel Chester French, sculptor of the Lincoln Memorial), Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony), Jacob's Pillow Dance Fesitval, the Berkshire Theater Festival, Hancock Shaker Village, hiking trails, swimming in the Williams River outside your door, restaurants and shops all nearby. Relax in the countryside, take a rowboat ride on the river, then venture into town to enjoy upscale boutiques and restaurants. This home comes completely furnished, with two double beds plus four single beds over the garage nearby. Linens, dishes, cable and DSL provided.
