Generous Windward parents Doug and Minda Johnstone have contributed a two-night stay at their lovely one-bedroom cabin in Big Bear Lake. It's the perfect weekend getaway for up to four people, so if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of LA, make an equally generous offer!
WW Fun Fact: On one ski trip to Mammoth Lakes, California, teachers and students encountered a blizzard. After several feet of snow and a couple of wrong turns, Shirley safely delivered her carload of students to the lodge at 2:00 AM. Rumor has it she then went to bed for the next three days.
Special Instructions
One bedroom, queen sized bed. Queen size sleeper sofa in living room. Fireplace, outside spa and BBQ grill on deck. Short distance to lake and village shops and restaurants. Reservations must be made in advance. Must call donor to coordinate reservation. Good from June 1, 2010 - Nov. 22, 2010. Holiday weekends are excluded. Four (4) people max.
