Del Mar's season runs from July 21nd through September 8, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, it offers some of the greatest thoroughbred racing in America.
Each year, the track opens their 43-day summer racing season in mid-July to crowds upwards of 40,000 people. Del Mar Racetrack is still the place to be and be seen.
