Be a Counselor for a Day with Mrs. Cartwright on a Friday in April

The student's day will include:

7:30 AM - meeting in Mrs. Cartwright's office for a briefing about the day and receiving "Counselor for a Day" business cards and holder, special notebook, pen, and badge,

7:45 AM - delivering a counselor's message on the  televised Dooley Morning Announcements,

8:00 AM - walking the school with Mrs. Cartwright and checking on classes,

8:30 AM - returning to their classroom for morning classes wearing their special Counselor for the Day badge,

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM - joining Mrs. Cartwright for a school pizza lunch and planning meeting in the Dooley conference room. The meeting will be joined by the principal, assistant principal, librarian, and their Student for the Day,

12:30 PM - returning to their classroom for afternoon classes wearing their special Counselor for the Day badge.
