Founded by Ann Pittel, Director of Music Education in 1970, Cornerstone Music Conservatory is a leader in creating innovative music education programs for toddlers through adults.  Through many years of experience and extensive research and development, Cornerstone offers the very finest quality of music programs for you and your child.

Cornerstone Music Conservatory is now celebrating its 40th year of bringing music and people together. Cornerstone offers group and private lessons for most instruments, for beginning to advanced students of all ages---both children and adults--- and provides performance opportunities – recitals, workshops, concerts – throughout the year and enthusiastically fosters creative musicianship experiences such as improvisation and composition as an integral and important skill for the developing young musician.  The Conservatory also presents other specialized group classes:  preparatory string programs, guitar and percussion workshops, the Allegro Children's Choir (ages 7 to 18 years) and the Westside Youth Orchestra (ages 8 to 18 years).   

             Having successfully worked with students with special needs for many years, Cornerstone is now pleased to offer a comprehensive music therapy program, Integrative Music Therapy Services, directed by Andy Tubman, who is a certified, experienced, published therapist and consultant.  Mr. Tubman’s programs have proven to yield outstanding results for children with autism and other special needs. In this progam music is used as a highly effective tool to help students focus, adapt, connect with themselves, increase self-esteem and attention span and communicate with others.
