Description

These eye-catching earrings donated by Sweet Lady Jane are created by NYC jewelry designer David Aubrey.

David Aubrey’s first studio was founded in SoHo, New York City in 1996 by President and Chief Designer, Jennifer Arago and Chief Officer of Operations, David Shechter.

David Aubrey jewelry is created with plated and oxidized brass and white metal, semiprecious stones, vintage glass beads, indian handmade glass beads, as well as mother of pearl and carved bone. David Aubrey’s lines range from delicate, meticulously assembled jewelry of monochromatic hues to larger, more colorful and eye-catching pieces. The lines are inspired by classic paintings, incorporating elements varying from the primary colors and ornamentation of medieval manuscript illuminations to the swirling effects and lighter hues of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s watercolors. The David Aubrey style is unique and easily recognizable.

David Aubrey jewelry has been sold internationally through stores and catalogs such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, J. Jill, Henri Bendel, BCBG, Anthropologie, and also in specialty shops all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan.
