Come join us for a Celebrity Chef Event at Fresh Starts Cooking School, a program of Homeward Bound of Marin: A Wine and Food Pairing with Sommelier Rajat Parr.
Rajat Parr, wine director for the restaurants of Chef Michael Mina, brings his remarkable palate and expertise to this unique food and wine event at Fresh Starts Cooking School.
Guests will learn from one of the best in the business as they sample wines from Parr Selections with appetizers from RN74, recently nominated for a James Beard Foundation Award as Best New Restaurant. The team at Fresh Starts Catering will serve a main course chosen by Parr to complement his wine list for the evening.
The menu highlights a range of tastes to open discussion about wine and food combinations. Appetizers will include scallops paired with Chardonnay, duck confit paired with Pinot Noir, and braised lamb paired with Syrah.
Event will be held WED, MAY 19 2010, 06:30 to 9:00 pm at Fresh Starts Cooking School, 1385 N. Hamilton Parkway, Novato, CA

Item pick up will be on Wednesday, April 28 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 29 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Sun Valley School Multi-Purpose Room.
