The 4th grade Social Studies curriculum is California History. As part of their California History curriculum at Venetia Valley, each year the 4th grade students spend an overnight at Fort Ross, the former Russian settlement near Jenner, California. Help the 2010/2011 4th Grade Class participate in this enriching experience as they cook, learn crafts, do guard duty and live the life as 1800's settlers at the fort. Your donation will be used to offset the cost for the entire class of approximately 74 students by reducing each student's individual charge.
