Description

Joe Montana & Bill Walsh 12X18 unsigned photograph

Joe Montana and Bill Walsh made a nearly perfect quarterback-coach combination, and it started from the moment Montana stepped into a 49er uniform in 1979. From the time he drafted Montana, Walsh planned to make him the starting quarterback and groomed him accordingly. And in 1981 it all paid off. A magical season for the the 49ers, that season, Bill, Joe and the revolutionary "West Coast Offense" took the NFL by storm with the 49ers going 13-3 and winning the first of of several Super Bowl Championships. Under Walsh, the 49ers won Super Bowl Championships in 1981, '84, and '88. And, of course, Joe added another Super Bowl Championship after Bill retired. A football duo for the ages, the impact they had not only on the 49ers, but all of football, cannot be underestimated.  One includes three classic 8x10 photographs of Bill and Joe with the middle photo hand-signed by Joe. The other is an unsigned classic 12x18 photograph of Bill and Joe strategizing on the field. Both are handsomely framed and include descriptive plates. And both are great collectibles from two of the greatest at their craft in football history. "The Winning Combination" indeed....
