A 90-minute session to assess educational skills, habits and styles.  Assessments include:

• an informal reading inventory


• a metacognitive reading inventory


• an assessment of written expression


• an assessment of learning style


• an evaluation of study skills and habits

A report, including a summary and analysis of testing results, as well as recommendations for considerations like: 

• study strategies & tools


• remediation of skills


• course programming


• intervention or referrals

The report gives parents a sense of their child’s learning profile, including strengths and weaknesses, and ideas about how their child can improve his or her grades, academic self-view, and approach to school.  This report can also be tremendously useful for families during the IEP or 504 process.
