Description

This 6-pack Wine Collection includes;

2007 Saxum, James Berry Vineyard; $300+; Here is your chance to own a PERFECT 100 pt wine.  This is a rare and unique opportunity not to miss. This amazing blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre is a lush and rich expression of these amazing grapes.  The winemaker does some amazingly unique techniques of blending in the field and co-fermenting the grapes that he puts together.  This creates a very seamless expression of all the varietal characteristics that are in the blend.

2004 Verite, La Joie, Meritige, Sonoma County; $200; This is an amazing blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  This wine is made with a unique twist where each varietal and each sub soil type is vinified separately and aged separately and at the end artfully blended to create amazing representations of Bordeaux in California.

2003 Verite, Le Desir, Meritige, Sonoma County; $200; The dark, foreboding 2003 Le Desir (44% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Franc, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Malbec) exhibits an opaque purple color along with scents of incense, fruitcake, black currants, mocha and berries.  Rich, concentrated, tannic, and dense, it appears to be even more backward than La Joie. Nevertheless, it possesses tremendous upside potential.  Cellar it for 3-4 years and enjoy it over the following three decades.

(2) Bottles of 2002 Freemark Abbey, Bosche Vineyard, Napa Valley; $85; This is arguably one of Napa Valley's best and longest standing wineries. The Bosche Vineyard is the premier wine of Freemark Abbey.  The winery's flagship single-vineyard Cab, from Rutherford, is extraordinarily rich and opulent, offering tiers of classic Cabernet flavors that don't stop.  Cassis, intense cherry, espresso, cocoa, dill, sweet anise, the list goes on and on. Marked by wonderful depth and balance, this long-lived wine is beautiful now and should improve through this decade before slowly winding down.

Silver Oak, Alexander Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon; $75; We all know this wonderful wine.  A great way to kick off any party.  This smooth and balanced cabernet is rich and delicious with dark cherry, vanilla and spice.
