"All good things are wild and free" 

Each child has left their finger mark creating a border around the beloved characters from Where The Wild Things Are.

Mrs. Caroll choose the book Where The Wild Things Are as a general theme for our plate in honor of the Year of Literature.  However we owe special thanks to local artist and Father of Rex, Adam Kaplan, for bringing our plate to life.

Not only is it a favorite book in Mrs. Carroll's class but "Where the Wild Things Are" became a classic in 1964 when this picture book was awarded a Caldecott Medal.
