About Milton Academy Summer Programs:


SportsPLUS: Directors: Geordie Dunnington, Sandi Dunnington and Alex Helm
A co-ed day camp for students entering Kindergarten–Grade 6.  Participation in five sports daily (baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse and tennis) and swimming.  New activities include the climbing wall and field days. Two or four week sessions available.  Camp dates are June 28 through July 23.  Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

 


Hockey:  Director: Larry Fitzpatrick
Boarding/day camp for girls only that runs June 28–July 9. Also, full day co-ed camps for ages 9–17 and afternoon sessions for younger players. General hockey skills, position skills, and off-ice conditioning are featured.  Low camper/coach ratio.  Weekly sessions available through July 17.


Kaleidoscope:  Director: Mary Stack
An arts and creativity experience designed for children aged 7-13. Children rotate through four stimulating hands-on classes daily. Subjects include art, improvisational theater, problem-solving and creative writing.  Three one-week sessions from July 26–August 13. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.


Centre Stage Drama:  Director: William Deschenes
A drama program for children ages 10–14. Students are guided through the play process from the first reading of the script to the final bows.  Set, costume, prop, make-up, lighting and sound instruction is also provided.  A play will be performed for family and friends each Friday.  Sessions are July 19–30.  Hours are Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–4 p.m.


Summer Dance Program: Director: Marthavan McKeon
Two week intensive classical ballet program from August 9–20 for intermediate and advanced day or boarding students aged 9–16. Classes include classical ballet, pointe and variations, and enrichment classes including character, jazz conditioning and stage makeup.

Cost range of the camps is as follows:


 




  • Sports PLUS 2 weeks = $945;  4 weeks = $1,835



  • Hockey - range from $400 - $735 (depending on whether it is a day or boarding program)



  • Kaleidoscope - 1 week = $460



  • Centre Stage - 1 week = $470



  • Dance - range from $910 - $1625 (depending if it is a day or boarding student)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.


All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees.
