this is a great place to donate and to buy!  much of the clothing comes from folks who have the resources to buy high end goods- designer wear, etc... and they seem to re-new their wardrobes often, so even the used stuff is "gently worn"... also there are many things donated by businesses (i guess after they go on sale, they are donated to charities such as this one, the american cancer society).   anyway, all the proceeds go to cancer research- a really good cause!  the shop is well laid out and it's just so much fun to hunt around for something really special.  i've found items by chanel, brioni, armani, calvin klein... the list goes on.  my current fave is a cashmere dress (so soft, so classic) from some italian designer i've never heard of.  in my experience the volunteers have always been friendly, chatty, and enthusiastic.  i recommend this place to people all the time.
