Vernon Kilns General MacArthur Victory Plate.  This collector's plate measures 10 1/2" diameter and highlights his West Point Graduation in 1903, his becoming a Division Commander in 1917, his Defense of the Philippines and the Island Fortress of Corregidor Entrance to Manila Bay.  The age of the plate is 1940's.  Striking and varied in design, Vernon collectors' plates have gained a following in the secondary market over the last decade or so.  Prices range from $10-$25 for most lines, with multi colored lines commanding a 10% premium.  Rarities can cost up to $100.  Most are still a bargain compared to other collectors' plates.
