Do you have some priceless VHS home video footage you would like to preserve, but you either have not done it (even if you have the equipment to do it yourself), or you have not been willing to send it off and spend the money?
That tape won't last forever, and the longer a VHS tape is stored, the more it deteriorates.
For your bid, you can get up to a full 2-hour VHS video tape remastered to Standard Definition DVD that is playable in your DVD player.
If you have multiple shorter VHS tapes you want converted, so long as the total is not more than 2 hours you can do that with your bid. If you have more hours to preserve, bid on multiple quantities of this item.

Special Instructions
Old VHS tapes sometimes become unplayable or at least difficult to play back, especially when they are played on other equipment.
If, when I attempt to play the tapes to check them for viability, I find my unit will not play them with the quality we would like to see, I will work with you one on one to see if you have the original VHS camcorder that was used to make them, or a player that will still play them, and we will arrange for me to borrow your unit with the utmost care and use it to do the conversion.
This analog-to-digital conversion is not as precise as digital-to-digital so the results may not be flawless like other format conversions are, but I will do the best I can to preserve your footage.
If by chance you have S-VHS footage (an enhanced VHS tape format that was not all that popular), I will work out the transfer process separately for you using a unit I can access to play the source tape while I capture the footage, or your S-VHS unit.
As with the DVD and BluRay video conversion offers, the footage in question must be original home movies and not include any commercial or professional video that would be subject to copyright restrictions.
