A fibula is a pin made out of a single piece of copper wire.  The dementions are 2-1/4 inches wide and 1-1/4 high.

Michelle Parker is a graduate student at Georgia Southern University in the small metals program.  Graduation date is planned for December 2010.  Her focus is on small sculptures and sterling silver as well as enameled jewelry.  Her work has been published in the Book, "500 Enameled Objects: A Celebration of Color on Metal", 2009.
